Lawyers For Children (LFC) provides free legal and social work services to youth up to ages 21 whose families are in court because of abuse, neglect, termination of parental rights, adoption, guardianship, paternity, custody and visitation cases. We listen carefully to our clients, make sure they understand their options and protect their right to a safe, secure and supportive place to call home. LFC also works hard to help other young people in foster care by partnering with other groups to make the system work better and creating handbooks to help young people understand their rights and find support.
